salienneI just saw PotC 2 and DAMN am I impressed. I really wish I had the first one so that I could refresh my memory... But the second one is just.... amazing. As good as, if not better than, the original.
Can I just say that I did NOT expect them to go that far? To say the second one is darker and less cliche is so much of an understatement..... We have Liz murdering Jack who is actually a pirate who sells and gives up his friends and other human beings for his own well-being. He is selfish. He is NOT that great of a person and while, yes, he does come back with the long-boat (w007)... he almost sold Will and would've if he could've (tho' he wouldda been guilty, o'course). Nor did I think that the Jack/Liz would reach THAT level. And what they did to Norrington.... daaaaaaaaaamn.
The fight scene between Will, Jack, and Norrington was 73h hott sexx. It was just awesome in every conceivable way. I loved it.
It is so not a coincidence that I love the darker of the two movies.
......Someone should write a fanfic on why Anamaria left the Pearl. *Does not think her dead*
I love life. Must see this movie again. XD It's amazing.
And sadly enough, thoughts of Leah skitter through my brain. @_@
And I'm off. Prolly to put off sleeping.

EDIT: Liz does NOT LOVE JACK. Curiousity, lust, an attraction. But she does not LOVE him. -_-" She loves Will, and I am NOT saying this because I'm all "Awwwww cute OTP!!!!" That's just..... what makes sense with their characters and with all of it. @_@ fanfic.net makes me sad..... and now I shall really go to bed. @_@ Night all.
