This was so good. I can't really describe it any other way cuz the words aren't coming and I'm rather speechless from how awesome this was.
I like that it's really very much THEM, and that with anyone going through a past trauma, he denies/avoids, he grieves, and then he talks through it. Also, I could really picture even the action scenes, especially when you wrote how a Dalek three feet away was saying 'Exterminate'. It was very real.
I always loved the scene where he sits and talks to Martha and describes Gallifrey. I always watch that and think 'it should have been Rose' though :P
(I'm going on to 4x05 in DW just so you know, so I'm allowed to read this lol)
