I squee, and I squee, and I squee some more. And, um, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Um... Can I get a fuck yes?

Because Yelena just totally finished her novel. Clocking in at a good 226 pages (well... more or less) is my darling little tale, and I am so damn happy right now.

And, yes, obviously it needs loads and loads and loads and loads of work still. It's a first/rough draft, it has continuity issues, it's inconsistent, I wrote half of it while watching TV at 4 in the morning, I have highlighted stuff everywhere, there's a scene that never happened that I want/need to happen, there's a big chunk where nothing happens, there stuff I'm going to need to cut, there's more stuff that I'm gonna need to put in, there's so much that I'm going to need to change, and blah blah blah.

But, hey, you know what?

I just finished my novel.

And, to quote Frost in completely inappropriate circumstances, that [has] made all the difference. XD
