Denial, denial, denial...
Apr. 28th, 2009 12:09 amSo as of today (or yesterday by this point), I am two decades old. This is legitimately frightening. I have yet to accomplish anything, it seems. Plus, in the words of my (31-year-old) sister, I'm getting old.
As such, I have decided that I will be perpetually 19 even when I'm bald and wrinkly and singing lullabies to my walker, except for next year's April 27th during which I plan to get very very legally wasted. I figure it's just one of those experiences, you know?
I'm a bit disappointed as I was supposed to go see Neil Gaiman today but didn't due to several last-minute cancellations. My friends did take me out to dinner to make up for it, though, which was equal parts kind and delicious. Even if the restaurant did rip us off with a $10/person fee.
Hope all is well with you, FL!
And, I suppose, happy (belated) birthday to me. :)
