salienneAll right, now this may seem like an odd/awkward question for some of you, but I've been having loads of conversations with friends lately and was just reading about To Write Love On Her Arms, so I was wondering...
What are your thoughts on self-injury?
Gut reactions, stuff you've heard or read, general thoughts, personal or friends' experiences, anything. I've screened comments, so no one will be able to see what you write but me and you.
Now obviously this is a really sensitive topic and I more than understand if you guys don't feel comfortabe answering, but if you do, I would love to hear your thoughts and views. As a wannabe therapist, and someone who's encountered people with all sorts of views on it and experiences with it, it's just something I'm very interested in knowing.
Positive view or negative view, I promise not to judge, and you can comment anonymously if you want.
