1. Was high school really that awkward?

2. Scripting for Bella? FAIL. She had less personality here than in the book.

3. Was it just me, or did it look like Edward was on the verge of crying each and every time he and Bella got close? That + Awkward Facial Closeups=Hilarity.

4. SPARKLY SKIN ECZEMA!!!

5. The complete and utter lack of chemistry between Edward and Bella until about halfway through the movie was just... weird.

6. Make-out scene? Okay, I admit, sort of hot.

7. Awesome soundtrack was awesome. I want!

8. I admit it. The baseball scene was pretty badass. (Except for Bella cowering when Laurent and co. showed up. I mean... really? She doesn't even glance over? I so don't buy that.)

9. Overall, they definitely portrayed it as a teenage romance. Epic Love of Life? Not so much. Teens in love? Okay! :D

Also, I played my first D&D game today. It was fun.

In other words, I should go see it? Or wait for it to come out on cable? (Assuming I ever reconnect mine)

I think it's worth seeing for the pretty cinematography, the awesome soundtrack, and the lulz, but depending on how much you value your money and time (my roommate, for instance, feels that she wasted 2 hours of her life), you may just want to wait.

HAHA I just saw it an hour ago. Things went as follows:

Exited the theater w/Noah (yes I dragged him) and LOLed at the teen angst that they did not even TRY to cover up.

Discussed... not many things, just mostly lolz and whether we liked or not

Immediately jumped on the computer to find out if Edward ever turns Bella. In doing this, I also wikipedia'ed the plot of EVERY BOOK in the series *HEADDESK*

Despite this, I am still going to read for a) laughs, b) a bit of interest, and c) I am such a teen angst whore, I really need to stop. I feel like I'm on heroine...

In response to your actual entry:

1. Not... really, no.
2. Idk, I'll tell you after I go read Twilight
3. YES his face got red and a bit scrunched-upish..
4. LMFAO I heard from other people but omfg, Noah and I had to cover our mouths and laugh silently as possible when we finally saw it, omggggg HAHAHAHA
5. Um, yeah, that made the high school awkward seem even MORE awkward
6. V. hot, I'm sure the teenies had orgasms in the theater. Apparently my friend claims some women/girls did.. (read: [livejournal.com profile] stoney321's review)
7. I WANT IT TOO PLZ!
8. It was, but I also wanted to laugh at that too... almost.
9. Agreed. SO MUCH CHEESE. I would say certain scenes were cheesy and go through the entire movie but ultimately, the entire thing was CHEESE!!! Enough to even make me LOL in NOT funny parts of a movie. But sadly... I STILL FUCKING LOVED IT AND TWILIGHT IS MY NEW DRUG OF CHOICE! After I finish the series and whatever movies may come, I will be in TAA (Twilight Addicts Anonymous)
