Let me tell you all about a fic I just read:

The Doctor and Rose have sex with Jackie in the next room. For the Doctor it hurts (because sex hurts for Time Lords, though he's been wanting in her pants for half the fic, and he FORGOT that it hurts somehow), and Rose just sort of wonders why he didn't tell her before. The Doctor then informs her that he's "stuck" until she conceives, and Rose is all, "Okay, cool, night then! :)"

...This gives my ship a bad name.

That sounds like the unholy love-child of at least three different fics I've read. The ones with Jackie in the next room can be fun, if the author plays it right. I read one in which sex hurts the Doctor and hated it chiefly because Rose just doesn't seem to care what's good for him. In the story, he's a caring and generous lover, and she's unwilling to compromise on something that hurts him. Okay, where's the real Rose, and what did you do with her?

The one--or ones--in which the Doctor gets "stuck" are just icky, IMHO.

WORD to everything you've just said. Like, why bother writing fanfic if you're not even going to try for IC and some conflict?

I especially agree with the getting "stuck" bit, and in this fic where he doesn't even tell her beforehand and she's perfectly fine with it?

Ew.

Not to mention both were pretty OOC (mainly the Doctor), but that ending scene just turned the tables from "meh" to "WTF".
