Movie Quotes Meme
1. Pick one dozen movies that are ones that you have special feelings about.
2. Pick a few lines of dialogue that mean something to you.
3. As people guess the film, strike out that entry.
4. If possible, after the film is guessed, explain why that movie made the list.

1. Moulin Rouge!
This movie is just so beautiful in so many ways. I didn't see it till last summer, and then I thought it was really good. Then I rewatched it and it was just "WOW!" The songs in this movie are beautiful, woven perfectly with the dialogue and events, and the cinematography is mind-blowing. The entire movie is heart-wrenching. I love it.
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
Oh come on, who doesn't love this movie? I mean, we've got Captain Jack Sparrow. Plus, it's the first movie that I ever wrote a fanfic for. It started my writing binge. XD
3. Can't believe no one got this one... Armageddon
I love this movie. I never get tired of it, and not only does it have its comedy (I love the golf beginning XD), but its ending is beautiful. I sob every time I see this movie.
4. The Matrix
Oh come on, who doesn't love this movie, love the concept, love the world, etc.? True, upon rewatching the Neo/Trinity thing I thought there needed to be more development between them, but oh well. Awesome movie. XD Did I mention I LOVE THE CONCEPT?
5. Edward Scissorhands
When I was little, this movie creeped me out. It creeped me out so very much. Then, all growed up, I watched it one night. This movie is the most beautiful movie I've ever seen. The symbolism is just done so well, unlike other movies I've seen (hush, Ash). I sob through the whole half hour at the very least, and I just love it so much... I think I have 3 Edward shirts now, 2 of them from Lisa. lol Another example of "Johnny Depp is the BEST ACTOR OF YOUR GENERATION."
6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
What did I just say about Depp? He really makes this movie... I crack up SO many times throughout the course of this movie. Disappointingly, Charlie falls flat as a character here though when looking from a symbolic POV (like you're supposed to do with the kids, though I LOVE Mike), he stands for the perfect, kindest kid. But Willy Wonka is worth it... XD
7. LOTR: ROTK
Really the whole trilogy. I mean, based on SUCH a good trilogy of books and done so beautifully. I know some people don't like this movie trilogy but I love it. It gets the feeling across, it has beautiful cinematography, great dialogue, vivid and round characters, etc. Love it.
8. Constantine
Anyone who knows me knows I love this movie. Longest thing I've ever written is my UNFINISHED FANFIC. It's longer than anything I've ever written! I need to work on it... But yes... Who doesn't love the cynical anti-hero? Perfectly cast, and again, I love the concept. The graphic novels are also really good. Love this movie, recommend it to my friends. XD
9. The X-Files: Fight the Future
My 2nd favorite series ever, so come on, you guys KNOW I needed to put the movie here. I barely remember it but I know it was awesome since it was like a long episode. And since I remember liking it. :D Anyone who hasn't seen the X-Files, check it out! SO good.... I love the Conspiracy, Mulder and Scully and the chemistry between them, the realistic dialogue, the quips, the plot... Just... love it.
10. The Farscape Two-Movie Ending Thing
My favorite series ever. Again, GREAT concept, but I just love the angst in this. I love the dialogue, I love the situations. I love Crichton, Aeryn, and Chiana especially, but also Da'Argo, Rygel, etc. Zhann was never an exteme love of mine but I liked her loads too. I just love this whole series and again, everyone should see it.
11. Secret Window
Not my UBER fav but still a movie that I can watch most whenever. Again, Depp. But I just really liked this movie, one of those you can watch most whenever.
12. Queen of the Damned
I love this series of books and I really like this movie. NOTHING like the books but come on, the concert was spectacular. Stuart Townshend definitely pulled off the essence of Lestat and him and Jesse (dun remember the actress's name), GREAT chemistry. Poor Akasha... did a really good interpretation of her. I love this movie. XD Especially the concert. :P
