For long-term lj friends and new lj friends and lurkers alike:

Because we never really know each other as well as we think, in response to this post I'd like you to ask a question. Anything about which you are curious, anything you feel you ought to know about me. Silly, serious, personal, fannish. Ask away. Then copy this to your own journal, and see what people don't know about you.

I really encourage this because it helps us get to know one another a lot better. Ask me anything.

Starving Artist
You are 28% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 42% Brutal, and 71% Arrogant.
You are the Starving Artist! Like some sort of emaciated Frenchman, you sit in your fancy little chair and contemplate beauty, meaning, flowers, and all kinds of other ridiculous crap. You are more intuitive than logical, and are primarily guided by your heart and emotions. You are also very introverted and gentle. Of course, this does not mean that you do not have an ego. In fact, you are surprisingly arrogant for someone so emotional and gentle. This is why you are best described as a starving artist. You are very introspective and quite sure of yourself, as any accomplished artist is, yet your views are impractical, guided by feelings, and overly gentle. You probably find math, logic, and similar intellectual pursuits offensive to your artistic sensibilities, and you prefer the open-endedness of artistry because it's infinitely easier to ponder the beauty of a sock than to build rocketships. So really you have no reason to be arrogant, you big doofus, because the skills you value (emotion, spirit, art, etc.) in yourself are valuable only on a subjective level, meaning your arrogance is purely masturbatory, like the insipid self-pleasuring of some twat who spouts artistic nonsense only for the pleasant tinkling sound it makes upon his indiscriminating ears. In short, your personality is defective because you are arrogant, introverted, introspective, gentle, and thoroughly irrational...posessing most of the traits needed to be a starving--and useless--artist. So get out there, write a few short stories that are allegories for the indestructible spirit of socks, and starve!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Capitalist Pig.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Haughty Intellectual, the Televangelist, and the Emo Kid.

*

*

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

Be sure to take my Sublime Philosophical Crap Test if you are interested in taking a slightly more intellectual test that has just as many insane ramblings as this one does!

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort.

You are a very grounded, responsible, and realistic person. People may not want to hear the truth from you, but they're going to get it.

You believe that people see you as larger than life and important. While this is true, they also think you're a bit full of yourself.

Your near future is still unknown, and a little scary. You'll get through wild times - and you'll textually enjoy it.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

INSTRUCTIONS: Write ten statements, intended to different people - things you've always wanted to tell them. Never tell which one is to whom.

Yeah, so some of those are pretty obvious but others are rather generic. *Shrugs* Love you all! Hope y'all know that.

Lessee.... now, off the meme for a sec. Life... life is good. Mariya's been down here in FL and we definitely played controller DDR until 2 this morning/last night. I can now get an avg. of C on Standard (giving myself the benefit of the doubt)... with the controller. Hush. I'm getting better.

I've also managed to lose my cell phone. It fell out of my pocket during a water ride at Busch Gardens. Now I get to use my old phone. That doesn't charge properly. After my dad agress to get me a new SIM card. Damn this sucks...

I love The X-Files. So much. XD If I could write ANYTHING on the level of The X-Files I would be proud of myself for life. Love them so much. Need to get Farscape Season 2... And sign up for SAT II's. I cancelled my scores for the Math and Lit. I just could've done so much better than I did on the math (i.e. managing my time properly) and I plan to do so in the Fall. I'll actually PRACTICE this time.

And now, I'm off. X-Files or DDR prolly...

Ta mates.

Explain your LiveJournal name and its meaning. When you're done, tag as many people as there are letters in your name.

Well, when Ashley and I were wee little ones (i.e. middle school) and obsessed with LotR, we had two AMAZING \characters: Dianthelle and Salienne. Ashley actually wrote a fanfic for hers, so I won't go too far in-depth about Dianthelle, but basically, she was the Queen of Spies and a half-elven ranger who eventually got together with Legolas. Salienne... was an elven ranger and her best friend. She was kind of cold and slept around a bit. Yeah, Sues. So sue us.

Ashley identified strongly with Dianthelle. I identified strongly with Salienne.

The RP with both of them in it--Walking Through Fire.... if anyone wants a link, comment and ask; it's HYSTERICAL--was amazingly fun.

So.... yeah. That'd be me tale. Not very long but ah well. :P

I'm too lazy to tag so.... everyone do it! Or at least everyone who wants to. :P
