salienneHmmmm, now I COULD work on homework. I could work on my history paper. I could work on college stuff. Instead, I'm posting on lj. ^.^ :P
Lessee, my weekend... Wednesday, I saw "Murder in the Cathedral" and mistakenly viewed it as a satire. Thursday I went to school and then to my grandma's. Friday I sat at the INS/USCIS for 7 hours and finally got my Citizenship certificate. Saturday was college weekend and my dad and I heard about college. I now have this nifty college binder thing and need to fill out a fake app. for the college counselors. .....I swear I'm gonna sell myself on the street and live in a cardboard box. I dun wanna apply to college. T-T
Saturday then turned awesome. I didn't go to the Swim Meet because 1) I didn't want to, and 2) College Weekend didn't end early enough and I didn't want to leave early and 3)I hadn't seen my dad for a while (although we did argue for a while @_@).
But yes... First lunch was incredibly amusing since everything was made all pretty and restaurant-ish, with the nice, fancy little pastries and the FLIK servers wearing actual black-and-white waiter suits. Gray grabs me when I walk up to him and points me to the deserts, cuz it was just so funny and surreal. Then my dad left (still need to see which flight out he got...) and after semi-working the rest of the day (i.e. procrastinating and watching Farscape), I went to the play again. XD (Go Lindsey! [She's in the play.])
Sat next to Vinay and Gray with Mariya on the opposite side of Gray and this time viewed it as a tragedy. It works a lot better as a tragedy, though some parts.... Well, I laughed at MAINLY all the right parts. :P After this was the cast party, and Mariya and I just kinda stuck around although we did NOTHING. (I helped build a bench one day in Tech but that was about it; I wasn't on Tech this season.) It was amazing. Sandstorm, other techno, and REALLY BAD HIPHOP. Seeing Henry and his brother (who looks like a businessman) all-out dance to this stuff (esp. Baby Got Back) was amazing. At one point, Gray was on his back on the floor basically moving his hips (i.e. crotch) up and down with Chelsea (this TINY freshman) standing with one leg on either side of him dancing to the hip-hop (and not the flips and all of that. The grinding on your own type). It was absolutely hysterical. We also taught Vinay to dance. XD
When this was over, we went to the Zox concert in the Student Center for about 10 minutes and caught the last two songs. I bought the CD and it was a blast. Got a part of a smoothie too but never finished it. Kinda forgot about it and left it. *big puppydog eyes* I didn't mean to!
Eh, then it ended and I was sad... but the day was amazing and so much fun. XD
I think yesterday was basically hw. I wish it was a Snow Day. T-T Lucky Stoughtoners.
And now... I'm OFF!
