HAPPY JULY 4TH ALL!

So I have just returned from a 4-day vacation with my 'rents at Key West. 10-hour drive there, 8-hour drive back, lots of time with the 'rents, having to wake up early and actually leave the house, hot as all hell.... Actually wasn't that bad. Well, I hated the little sleep and being with my parents but I got quite a bit of writing done (especially on the ride there; I love my laptop with the I-last-3-hours battery, tho' I still need wireless; INTERNET WITHDRAWL) and went to a pirate museum. They were playing the Jack and Will fight song on repeat outside it. I know this because I stood outside it reading Catch-22 (I love this book) while my 'rents parked the car. I got two books on pirates and got a poster with the Pirates' Creed, i.e. the Code. Later, I took notes on the reef and how in Key West it wasn't uncommon for there to be 2-3 shipwrecks a week on the coral reef... We even took a cruise to see it, which was cool. The ocean really is gorgeous down there. I need to incorporate all that into some sotry, probably the uber fantasy one I'm saving for when I can write a helluva lot better than I can now.

Didn't read nearly as much Bleach manga as I thought I was gonna...

And I have just now gotten the 2nd season of Farscape, and last week I got RENT and the final miniseries of Farscape. I love life. XD I'll hate it tomorrow when I need to start rlly looking at colleges and filling out the common app and all of that but ah well. I'm gonna watch me some Farscape and read some manga first. :P

And now... I be off. Ah internet, how I missed ye.
