Ah, school

salienneWell, I'm back. It's been fun. I'm a senior. Jeez, when did that happen? @_@ I realized that I have more friends in the jr. class than in my own now. Ah well. It's a cool class. And now for another definition of "class:" classes don't start until Monday, so thus far, it's just been walk-out (sr.s dressing up strangely and walking out in front of the whoe school) and hanging with friends. There are some really cool new kids and I missed ppl. Going "mow" and faux-hitting on Mariya has been my fav pasttime all day. XD I missed the soft-serve ice cream.
I miss Sarah. *Pout*
And the new proxy is evil. *grumbles* Tho' there ARE ways to get around it, which is cool. Because it's just.... eeeeew. And we have dumb new rules. And STILL no tvs (I'm gonna bug my dear ol' dorm head about that; we wants ps2 precioussssssssssssss). But other than that, I luvvle Milton. ^.^ So nice not to have the 'rents breathing down my neck. Need to see college office....
And now, I be off. Annie is sleeping over and she be back from brushing her teeth soon. We watched El Dorado and I love that movie. ^.^

Date: 2006-09-11 03:11 am (UTC)... when my friends and I were in that 17-20 year old age bracket, we were into Deer Hunter slapping each other, too. For some strange reason, it usually happened while we were playing poker for pennies.
It makes me wonder if we did not start a tradition, at least in the Boston area.
You know, people in California saw "Awesome" all the time now. Heh, it only took them about 25 years to catch on. Maybe in 2025 they'll start talking about how a certain band is "Wicked Good."
