salienneAh yes, that time of year again. I get someone liking me and can't reciprocate. *sighs* Ah well, definitely worse things out there. Such as scorpions. Scorpions are bad. Besides, V's Day means we get lots of candy (yay cinnamon hearts!) and nice-smelling roses (at Milton, you can send someone a rose; I got one from the dorm.... kinda sad but it smells really nice ^.^).
So.... not much going on, really. I'm in the process of filling out my application for senior projects, which is going ok, all things considered. I'm not detailed enough, apparently, but I SO wanna do it. I'm writing a novel inspired by Doctor Who (anyone surprised?). And by novel I mean the first 25 or so pages of a novel. It'll definitely be an experience.
OOOH! Today is my last ever swim meet. Technically I'm supposed to go to practice for the rest of the week but not so sure that that's gonna happen... It might, though. You never know.
And now I'll actually go and do my hw.

P.P.S. As to why I'm amused.... today, we had an assembly by Common Ground (a club). We had to line up and then they read questions about privilege; basically, the further up you were, the more privileged you were, and the further back you were, the less privileged you were. One of my best friends was WAY at the front while I was at the back.... I actually found it really entertaining. I mean, it wasn't like it was a surprise. My school reeks of privilege. So.... I was amused. :P Especially since my friends don't realize it/don't act like it (the latter of which is really good).
So... yeah, again, ta!
