Last-minute beta request

Hey all! I know this is VERY last-minute (what, me procrastinate? Never!) but I’ve just finished up my fic for [Bad username or site: ”365days_fiction” @ livejournal.com], my first real fanfiction in AGES, and I really need me a beta. Only catch: the fic is due August 1st. (When I say last-minute...)

This is a Doctor Who fic from Martha's POV, set on April 27th during the year that wasn't. Obviously knowledge of Doctor Who would be helpful, but if anyone were willing just to go through for writing clarity, flow, grammar, etc., that would still be immensely helpful. And I'd love you forever! :D (It's not too long.... about 4.5 pages :P)

If no one can actually do this on such short notice, I totally understand. Just thought I'd put the request out there.

I need to do some proofreading myself first (I only finished it today @_@) but I'll send it to you sometime tonight. (I'll give you some necessary BG in the e-mail, just so you'll understand what's going on, but really, I just want to make sure it's coherent.)

Depending on what time you send it to me tonight, I can have it done tomorrow afternoon. But if I'm asleep, then I can get it back by tomorrow night or the morning after. 4-ish pages shouldn't take me too long.

Bah, why must I have moved.... Also, my school isn't in MA anymore, it's in MD. That is about a gazillion times closer than FL, though, so being there'll make visiting MA pretty easy. *Glomp*

...I would, but I kind of have a House piece due tomorrow. On which I have not yet started. Yeah.

I have to explain why Chase had a ping pong paddle when he got fired. And I want to make it dirty, but I can't figure out how.

Either he and Cam did something naught on a ping pong table (....they've done it everywhere) or he's imagining smacking House over the head with it. Or if he and Cam are into spanking...

My other option is that it was with a big bunch of junk in his locker that other ducklings who'd fled House left there, and he kept it as a reminder to not let House run him off. And then we could get into teh angst of him getting fired.

I like the option with the box of junk. I don't really quite understand how the Cameron one would work, and I really like the idea of the box and of them not being the first ducklings overall but being the first ducklings to get somewhere past House's asshole exterior.
