Okay, based on inspiration from my FL and because I’m procrastinating far too much on my novel, I’ve decided to make a list of all the ships/OTP’s I have. Not necessarily ones that I’m absolutely obsessed with (though I’ll certainly star those), including fandoms I’m both obsessed with or just have a passing fancy in, with all the ships (that spring to mind) that I support with any sort of gut reaction.

Oh the things we do when we should be writing Part 2 of the first book of our Merchant saga (Yes, I have an idea for the sequel. Yes, this requires finishing the first one. Yes, the sequel is going to require so much imagination and research I’m gonna go insane @_@)…

Rose and the 9th Doctor land on Moya at some point, and then the Doctor keeps coming back because he and Crichton just have so much in common… John and the Doctor basically become “Let’s talk about how angsty and sucky our lives can be and how many people we have to kill/lose” buddies. …..It works!

Well I was going more for fandoms I'm obsessed with rather than original fiction, but I actually couldn't help but include one of my own characters in there. Leah, she's ancient. @_@

In my own fiction.... well, in my current obsession/novel/thing, none of the characters are really compatible with one another (though I can could see how someone would think they were) and I don't have that many short stories going on on the side. I'm not that big of a romance writer generally. *Shrugs*

I do need to step up in terms of actually sitting down and writing my own stuff, though.... Wow I need to stop procrastinating. @_@

Romance in fiction is often like romance in fact. You're too busy living the rest of your life to worry about it and it just sort of happens ... if you let it.

Yes, I am well aware. :P It's just not currently the focus of what I'm writing at the moment.

In the novel, for instance, one of the guys is too evil, the other is too full of himself, and the girl is just too busy trying to save the world to really care about either one. And then there's just no deep attraction. *Shrugs* I mean, there's something between the Merchant and the girl, but it's not something that goes anywhere. Though I'm sure if there were ever fanfic based around my book, all three would be paired off with each other and who knows whom else. @_@

Yay, Harry/Luna! I've always been a Harry/Ginny shipper, but then the latest film made me really want Harry and Luna to get together. Possibly because she held his hand and, thanks to DW, that obviously means epic love. *grin*

Ever since I read their interaction at the end of the 5th book, I've been a Harry/Luna shipper. Not enough to hunt for/write fanfic or anything, but enough. :P And are you kidding me, that is the EPITOME of epic love.... except for, maybe, beating up/straddling one another Farscape style.
