(...And is it sad that I keep spelling it "Valentyne" because that's my darling Merchant's name?)

(And I cheat a little, since I'm going back farther than just a day. But, really, it's possible to still make my day and have been awesome before the day of the dead saint).

rosa_writes Well other than the fact that she's a total sweetheart who writes fics that I will never get tired of, she gave me absolutely wonderful feedback on my "dear God I can't write and God hates me and my novel is terrible awful drivel crap bad crap BAD terrible TERRIBLE" entry. And I apparently made her day, which always makes me happy. :) And she's just an amazing awesome person who recently finished her thesis and graduated, so.... congratulations!
2.biggrstaffbunch Another one of those brilliant, kind, interesting people. Her writing makes me want to become a better writer, almost always leaves my jaw on the floor, and inspires me to just write. Honestly, reading her stuff is like treating myself to really really really good cheesecake and getting a long neck massage right afterward, and then having the best, most exciting and innovative and fun dream that night. And thinking and imagining the whole time.
Nope, I'm not a total fangirl at all...
3.zhalin Because she is tons of fun, and amazing, and an absolute darling, and was there for (and was the impetus for) my first tattoo, and she hasn't killed me for not proofreading this tentacle porn and getting it to her, even though it's over two months late by this point. @_@

4.sensiblecat/catsfiction Because she recced my Jack/Doctor Year-That-Never-Was-Fic, and that just made me all happy and fuzzy. I don't get much recognition in fandom (not that I'm complaining; I'm more than content that some people stumble by my fics and enjoy them now and again :-)), but it was still lovely to see my effort appreciated, y'know? That, and her fics make me very happy, and she also commented on my post-novel freakout and was most comforting. :)
5.engima731 Because she's just awesome, and we have very amusing House conversations. And MSTs are fun. And her writing is absolutely lovely. And I was looking through old lj comments yesterday, and dear God, we're weird.
6.kirasha Because she is also a wonderful writer and an absolute sweetheart, and because she too gave me many hugs and much comfort during the whole "NOVEL=DEATH ON A FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL OF FAIL" thing.
7.orange_crushed Just.... go read any of her fic. Seriously. Then talk to me.
That, and, like so many people on my FL, she's just an intelligent, imaginative, and lovely person. :)
8.neytaritook Because I read and adore every single one of her entries, and I've known her for years, and she's just one of the most amazing people I've ever talked to. I need to get to Cali at some point...
9.violet_lane Because it's very nice having other DWF-goers on my FL, and she's rather awesome and lets me get my meta on, and is such a great cosplayer and kind, intelligent person.
10.kwizbit Though she's cutting back on lj, I have stayed on her FL even though she was doing a bit of a cut, and I just adore her. She's a wonderful person who can make me smile. :)
And, um, I know I've probably missed tons of people, but keep in mind this was just in the past few days! You are all lovely people who make my day on a variety of days. This is just what sprung to mind in the recent past.

And on another note entirely, I'm sick but am scheduled to give blood tomorrow. ...Here's hoping my cough goes away after just 24 hours? @_@
