Every college student's worst nightmare

9 AM, organic chemistry test. I spend all day yesterday studying, and I even set my alarm to go off a half hour early so I can get a bit more studying in.

10:10 AM, Tabitha's alarm goes off and I wake up.

Well, needless to say, 10 minutes later I was at the lecture hall where everyone was already taking the exam and had been taking the exam for the past hour and then some. See, apparently, while I'd set my alarm, I forgot to turn it on.

Well, after some sobbing and freaking out on my part, I found out that the TA whose hair I adore is incredibly nice; she chatted with me and gave me a hug and just calmed me down. As for the professor, he is also an amazingly nice individual who, after finding out what happened, told me to go clean myself up, get a drink of water, relax, and take the exam with the knowledge that I can have the full two hours. I spent the first 20 or so minutes with everyone else taking the exam, and then went to another room and finished.

Dear God that was a bad morning, but thank goodness for awesome professors.

Now to watch more Buffy.

Which professor is it? Do you have Klein? Falzone is also amazingly nice.

Organic tests STINK but at least it's over, and I'm glad it turned out ok despite the mishap. :-) Now go take a day off from studying and relax!

If you've been coming to class and participating, you probably got a pass on the oversleep because of your reputation for being a student who isn't just there for the piece of parchment.

Sometimes, it happens. Try not to count on stuff like that too much, though.

I can't believe one of my nightmares happened to you, but I'm so glad you had luck on your side. Thank heavens for a few decent professors that the world does possess. You were really lucked in!!
