Ooh, yummy new show! (New for me, anyway)

salienneBeing Human. Haven't seen the Pilot yet, but the 1st season was really good. It was a bit meh at first, and George annoyed the hell out of me until the very end when I realized it was intentional, and Lauren was too much of a plot device and not enough of a character... but the end was SO GOOD OMG.
And there was real tension and character development and consequences, rather than "Let's kill someone off for drama!"
Because this was drama, with high stakes, and it was Good. With some of the best character interactions I've seen on tv. And emotional continuity. I forgot how much I missed emotional continuity.
Also, the friendships? So well done. As much as I love EPIC ROMANCE, you so rarely get those deep friendships that are just as important. And I adored it.
