Anyway, my goal is to finish said fic within the next two weeks. I will do this. My writing has just been dead for far too long, and I plan to kickstart it with a mad scientist, his son, an FBI agent turned-babysitter, and an FBI agent with long red hair. Canon-compliant. (Anyone who's seen the s2 finale will get this. Anyone else, DON'T EVEN ASK. WATCH THIS SHOW. LOVE THIS SHOW. THIS IS AN ORDER.)
Also, I apologize for just how damn slow I've been with replying to comments. Hopefully I'll have time for a real entry and real responses tomorrow.
