Just Written a Review...

salienneWell, I've just written a review to Blood Canticle and put it up on amazon... *Sighs* Good book, not up to the standards of the others and consequently not one I like... It just wasn't.... Lestat. T-T
But I can't blame her for it, and under the circumstances, I think Anne Rice did a spectacular job. I mean, I can hardly believe that she was even able to write it. I can't even really write when I'm semi-upset, and with the death of her hubby....
It's really the whole religion thing, though. A writer shouldn't let their personal beliefs affect their characters so much. A character should not just be an extension of self. It's easier to do it this way, and God knows loads of writers do.... It's almost impossible to avoid.... But it still should be SOMEWHAT avoided. *Sighs*
