Ok, guys, I'm interested in making an RPG. This idea just came to me so bear with me as I still need to work out the kinks, but I think it could be a lot of fun. Death: The Grand Adventure from www.minastirith.com gave me inspiration for this.
An RPG that's not based on any sole fandom. An original world basically of the characters' creation. I'll obviously put down guidelines to keep things from getting out of hand, but basically it won't be that limited. (Thins would stay within SOME reason, though, obviously.) You characters--as long as they're not all-powerful, invincible, etc.--could be whatever you wish. Vampires, humans, werewolves, horses, unicorns, Oompa Loompas, giant frogs named Christopher Bobby-bob, etc. They just need to be sentient (human intellect) and be able to communicate and interact with the other players.
All of us would start off in some sort of mansion, transported there by a really bored goddess in need of some entertainment. She'd say a few words and then go poof and leave us to our own devices. Then, we'd get out of the house, into the woods, into the town, whereever. This is where imagination and seeing where it all goes come in.
Good grammar would be required (no netspeak :P), as would a general profile of your character. (Nothing too difficult; just the basics, really.) I'll have the final say in who plays and who doesn't, obviously.
I really think this would be a lot of fun, though I need members to start this rp, obviously.
So.... anyone interested? Just comment. And tell me if you think I should do this on lj or proboards.

I made it on proboards just because it could be more organized and easier to manage and understand that way.
