Maybe you've heard this one before.

I don't know if you've ever watched Scooby Doo, but there are five main characters in that cartoon. Popular Legend has it that each character "represents" one of the Five Colleges in Western Massachusetts. My undergrad school, UMass-Amherst, is represented by Scooby Doo himself.

Wikipedia's page about the Five Colleges says there is some confusion about Velma and Daphne, but when I first heard about the legend I immediately put Velma with Smith and Daphne with Mount Holyoke.

O_O I never even knew Mount Holyoke was a school... As for the Scooby Doo thing, that's amusing. XD I love that show. ^.^

Mount Holyoke is an all-woman's college in South Hadley, near Holyoke, Springfield, and Chicopee.

I've only been there twice, once for a concert, and once for a party. My brother picked up a girl at the concert, and she invited us to the party. ^-^

Anyway, the buildings on the campus are something. I remember the party was in this large common room with wood-paneled walls. It was like dancing in a museum.

Apparently, 'Kirasha' is (thankfully) still not a well-used moniker. Hell, I didn't even know it was a real name until 6 months ago. (and as I now realize it's been nearly 10 years since I started using the name in RPGs and online, I am a bit frightened!) *g* This is the sum total of what came up hehe:
