Whee, yesterday was a fun day. First I went to Boston and hung out with Juli, Tristan (her bf), and Austin (they're friend). We went to Chinatown, Boston Costume, and some other store that I can't remember but had awesome cheap clothes. I managed to injure myself and now have a rather painful bruise... Then on the way back I somehow managed to get lost walking back from the T station (it's a straight line to get back, btw) and I had to take a side road and ended up coming back to the Academy from the OPPOSITE SIDE OF CAMPUS. @_@ How I did this, I don't WANT to know...

When I got back, I went to the dance, apparently the only one of the year that ppl come to because it's the first one. Which I find amusing. Other than the fact that we had to REQUEST non hip-hop and rap and only got two songs that weren't hip-hop and rap (I think my brain has been permanently fractured) it was pretty fun. At least there was a beat.... and as long as I ignored the words and all of that... They played Gasolina though. I was having the best time to that song... it's hysterical. And they played another song in Spanish too. You KNOW the music's bad when you don't realize it's in Spanish till halfway through the song... And only when someone points it out to you...

And now, I'm off to do HOMEWORK! WOOOT! And go back to my computer whose internet doesn't work! And my e-mail doesn't work either cuz my account's screwed! XD YEAH! -_-"

sounds like ur having an uber fun time!! When u say Juli do u mean JULI JULI? lol our Juli? if so SHE HAS A NEW BF? lol I must be informed of this juicy info as soon as possible lmao. Sounds like ur actually adjusting to this school pretty easily. Im glad ur having fun.

Eh, I'm adjusting. It's ok. Could be better but could be way worse. At least the work's not as bad as I thought it would be, though I'm hoping I do well on it. Haven't really had anything graded yet. :P

Back Bay

Did you go to the Back Bay at all?

I used to always head there whenever I went to town. Newbury Street Comics was one of the places I used to go. I think they sold records, too.

I think Wurlitzer's music was down around there, too.

Jeez, I don't remember, exactly. I mean, we're talking about way back when you still bought records at a record store.

Maybe those places aren't even there anymore. Or maybe that whole neighborhood has gone down the drain.

Newbury Comics is EVERYWHERE now. There's one in Randolph. I used to go there periodically, though never the one on Newbury Street. I didn't really go to Back Bay though I have been there.

Yeek, and about Newbury Comics, they're mainly CDs and some DVDs now. They also have Hot Topic-like (i.e. Punk, Goth, etc.) belts and pins and trinkets and the like. And a lot of graphic novels.
