Saw HP4 and Rent

Overall, good movie. Much better if you haven't read the books prolly, though... in general at least. The Dumbledore made me want to die, however. And the Hermione was overacted at parts. Yet Barty was awesome--love the tongue thing--and the bouncing ferret was definitely amusing. Rita... omg I love her. With a passion. XD Harry was awesome, and the part with him sobbing over Cedric's body and clinging... Damn good. Although Cedric, I think, was WAY too much of a jackarse in the movie. Harry/Ron interaction was spot-on. And the scene with the four unforgivable curses and Neville... ruddy brilliant. I swear I cried there, as well as at the end with Cedric. (I'm a pansy. So sue me.)



Liked it much better than HP4. VERY good. Bloody brilliant. Need to see the musical, and in the meanwhile, listening to both soundtracks. I love it. To death. Although the ending was rather cliched... Yet the rest of the movie almost makes up for it, if not completely. The line about Angel looking good was brilliant. Still, I feel the ending was a little lacking. Yet still good. I sobbed so much in this movie... There was BRILLIANT cinematography, awesome message, and I love the song-overs with the scenes. The scene with Mimi shivering and Roger helping her after she tries to quit drugs and before she fails was incredibly touching.
