Oh, books...
Jan. 8th, 2008 07:14 pmIn the novel I just started, we have a lovely main character. Here's some of what I know about her already:
She’s an empath. She was once the commander of a secret unit responsible for assassinations and reconnaissance missions, and she’s currently a secret agent for the military and a clinical psychologist for vampires. Oh, and she's in her twenties.
She has a “lovely mouth,” “thick, long, blonde hair” (3), and “Nile-green eyes” (5).
“Not exactly beautiful, she was extremely pretty, except when she smiled. When she’d smiled at him in the doorway, his heart had slammed in his chest from her sheer loveliness.” (10)
Maybe I’m oversensitive to this stuff by now, but my Sue senses are tingling. However, if I can handle Lestat, the Doctor, and Captain Jack Harkness, this girl is really no problem.
Still amusing, though.
