I need to study abraod. In England. *Bounces a lot* Thus far, Oxford seems to look most promising, and I think I'll end up doing something in English and perhaps Classics. Cuz dammit I need me some England, and that's pretty much the only stuff I can get credit transfered for (the English, at least). And both are very very fun.

Now if only November 1st could hurry up and get here so that I could talk to the study abroad person.

Oh, and on another note, I wrote a poem. Yes, me, writing a poem. Odd, non? It was after I got Frost's iambic rhythms stuck in my head, so it just sorta... came to me, I suppose? I had fun, anyway, and I'm sort of proud of it, so if anyone's interested, here it is:

Eternity and Silence met
Upon a faded plane of gray
And as the worldsfolk gathered 'round
The first and last prepared to say,

"We realize why you've gathered here
Amongst us men of life and sound
You seek to see what we shall speak
Once one of you has lost."

Yet Eternity and Silence stayed
Proud and taciturn,
They saw no need to change their ways
Amongst this crowd of fools.

Thus Eternity and Silence stood
Through hollowed blades of time
With clockwork ticking on
And on, through dark and moon and sun.

But all the worldsfolk kept their watch
Waiting for one or both to fall,
Yet one by one they fell all round
And dirt claimed them away.

Ooh! Studying abroad would be so much fun =D

Though - Oxford the city is stunning, but I went to an open day at the university and they were really snobby. Maybe it's just because I have a fairly common accent and it's probably different when you're actually studying there, though. But I thought I should point out that Cambridge is supposed to be much nicer =)

Hmmmm.... I will keep that in mind. And I'll definitely look at Cambridge, but it really depends on what programs are offered. I can only do a semester, and I'm not sure if Cambridge would let me. (I think one semester ends up being the first out of your guys's 3 terms, though I'm not positive.... have to check with the S.A. office for that.)
